The aim of the workshop is to bring together academic researchers and practitioners to pro-mote and exchange ideas in the field of macroeconometric modelling.

The workshop presents recent research on gender-aspects of labour market policies. Theoretical and empirical work from different disciplines - in particular economics, sociology and psychology - is welcome.

The conference will assess current welfare statistics and demonstrate the relevance of these figures to existing and future welfare practices and reforms. Topics covered will include ageing and aged care, children, youth and families, welfare expenditure, labour force, housing and homelessness.
