The topic of the workshop will be productivity and regulation with transportation as one of the applications to be covered in this single session, four day workshop (with additional trips organised to Masada, the Dead Sea and the old city of Jerusalem) ending with a New Year’s Eve party.

The summer school will provide graduate students and young researchers with the opportunity to learn from and interact with world-leading economists in the field of economic growth. We will expose students to frontier research in economic growth and encourage participants to present their own work.

Economists working in this field are invited to submit a paper for presentation at the Jerusalem conference. Papers focusing on “Globalization and Growth in a Long Term Perspective” are of special interest. Issues involving Human Capital, Technology, and Development Stages are welcome.
