This article examines The California Victims of Corporate Fraud Compensation Fund, originally created in 2002 to provide recovery for consumers who obtain court judgments for corporate fraud, but do not receive full recovery from the defendant. From 2002-2012, this fund has been subject to controversy. The 2013 amendments to the Corporations Code seek to remedy these controversies after numerous consumer complaints and adverse publicity
