7. Indigenized Human Resources

This paper brings together the contributions in this issue and describes how they collectively contribute to improved understanding about human resource science. It takes a pragmatic approach to human resources as one part of resources organizations use to accomplish their goals. It also takes a critical look at the influence a history of imperialism upon Indigenous people has on their understanding of human resources today and offers the value that understanding human resource science from Indigenous people perspectives has for academic studies, Indigenous communities, and populations in general. Finally, this paper calls for developing and advancing Indigenous human resources as an academic discipline in order to advance the work started in this issue.
