7. Revolutionizing STEM learning with automated artificial intelligence-based tools

The study investigates how automated Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools affect science, technology, engineering, and medicine (STEM) education. Enhancing the standard of STEM education has extensively increased the need for STEM skills in the workforce. AI-based tools offer students the best possible engaging learning opportunities. AI tools like Gradescope, Cognii, IVY Chatbot, and Carnegie Learning have the potential to revolutionize conventional learning along with teaching techniques. In this study, we examine the effects of AI on students’ test scores both before and after the integration of AI tools into the classroom through exploratory data analysis. The study also asserts that despite the range of AI tools available for teaching, an efficient learning outcome is achieved only with the help of an active teacher in the class. Additionally, the importance of currently available AI-based tools in STEM teaching is discussed.
