A Study on Investment Behavior of Individual Investors with Reference to Delhi-NCR

The capital market is supported by investors. A developing economy, such as India, requires an increasing flow of savings to business enterprises. Over the last few years, retail investors' engagement in the equities markets has increased. The flow of capital employed for productive purposes is known as investment. An economy may enjoy high levels of consumption without investment, but this would result in an unbalanced economy. States with higher investment commitments are more progressive. In the current study, the researcher aims to examine how investors invest and statistically test the interrelationships between various attributes. The information was gathered by an examination of questionnaires distributed to various parts of Delhi-NCR. The data has been analyzed using SPSS Software by applying Chi-Square Test between different attributes. In the investment process, every individual requires good financial planning. People should be aware of all investment options before making financial decisions. The financial markets nowadays are highly complex, with each investor having unique financial demands based on his or her financial goals and risk appetite. But, in the end, every investor wants to maximize returns while also protecting his or her cash. As a result, financial education is required for people to invest their money wisely
