Agricultural Water Governance and Policies in Bulgaria
This paper analyses the evolution and efficiency of agricultural water governance and policies in Bulgaria during the post-communist transition and EU integration. The paper presents the process of transformation of agricultural water governance embracing all mechanisms and modes and assesses the impact of newly evolved system of governance on efficiency and sustainability. Finally, it concludes suggesting a few recommendations for the improvement of public policies and strategies for effective and sustainable agricultural water management.
