AJAX or the New Standard for Faster Web Interfaces

Well-known companies allocate today a lot of money and time in creating web applications that skip the "famous" and also the "infamous" bottlenecks caused by the poor connectivity, the slow server response time, the network lag or by the browser incompatibility.
