Allocative efficiency, the aggregation of labour inputs, and the effects of farm size and tenancy status : tests from rural Bangladesh

The authors focus on tests of labour aggregation and profits maximising behaviour of farmers in a village in Bangladesh. Special emphasis is placed on the role of farm size and tenancy status. The results reported in the article indicate that farmers whose operated areas and/or tenancy states differ appear to behave in the same way. (DÜI-Sen)
