AN EMPIRICAL EXAMINATION OF A FINANCIAL DECISION FRAMEWORK.
The purpose of this dissertation is to examine the relationship between investment and financing decisions. A model of the firm is developed which offers a description of the financial decision-making process. The model is estimated for a sample of firms and different aspects of the description of the process are tested, providing evidence on the relationship between the investment and financing decisions of the individual firm.
