An empirical model of geographic diversification in the United States metropolitan apartment markets.

The purpose of this study is to explore the diversification opportunities across the U.S. metropolitan apartment markets. Unlike previous research, this study explicitly focuses on the U.S. metropolitan apartment markets and attempts to develop an empirical model which reveals the underlying local economic factors that are significant in developing an optimal MSA grouping scheme for geographical diversification.
