Analisa Strategi Persaingan Kartu Prabayar IM3 Dengan Pendekatan Metode Quality Function Deployment Dan Game Theory (Studi Kasus : PT Indosat Tbk Regional Medan)
The high frequency of mobile phone users affect the competitive conditions of telecommunication services operators. Mobile phone users tend to search for telecommunication operators that provide price/tariff economically in accordance with demands they want. As one of telecommunication operators, PT. Indosat and one of its products im3 simcard in the form of GSM should be able to understand the competitive condition that occurred. To deal with and anticipate the competitors, companies must have a competitive strategy formulation. Competitive strategy formulation or determination can be doing by using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and Game Theory Method. Through the QFD method approach, the attributes can be known what is needed by consumers and how the value of the interest of consumers needs. Consumers needs will be translated into company„s technical response as the company‟s action to improve the performance of products and services with thw aim of satisfying consumers.While game theory is used to determine the most superior attributes that will be used as a strategy in dealing with competitors of other telecommunication operators which in this research is Simpati and XL.The ense attribute of getting a card on the market is an attribute of im3 simcard that meets costumers expectations viewed from a positive value of its gap. Attributes based on aspects of price/tariff, conection (network) and the services still need deployment in order to give satisfaction to costumers and attributes of tariff and conection quality become a top priority in the deployment.
