Ansätze zur Gestaltung des Netzes von Bankverbindungen durch eine Unternehmung
It was the aim of the study group to make progress in the evaluation of the bank relationships a company maintains. This evaluation should help to increase the efficiency of the net of financial institutions a company is banking with. In view of the very small number of publications on this subject up to now the study group was aware of the fact that it could develop only basic solutions of the problems concerned.There are good arguments for centralizing as well as for diversifying a company's bank relationships. On one hand - in case of diversification - the relatively small number of deals handled by each bank could lead to a less close contact between bank and client.Results of a survey concerning large-scale as well as medium-sized companies showed that business-specific and bank-specific criteria for the construction of a net bank relationships depend on the individual needs of a company. For the increasing the net's efficiency it is necessary to compare the values of the bank relations with each other...
