ASSESSING THE IMPACT OF TURKISH NEGOTIATIONS FOR ENTRY INTO THE EUROPEAN UNION ON FDI AND TRADE IN THE REGION

This study argues that with or without membership in the European Union, Turkey can make economic strides and transition into a developed economy, if it continues to liberalize its economy and trade, and implement in earnest the Copenhagen Criteria for convergence.
