Warren of T Angeles, in 1946, was increased by him in the amount of $500. '"**PRESIDENT'S DISCRETIONARY FUNDThe President's Discretionary Fund was established in 1945 bv \\. and Mrs. Arthur E. Orvis of Reno. During the past biennium th following donations have been added to it: ^(1) Admiral James Fife of New London, Connecticut, donated total of $500 during the bienniiim.(2) Admiral Joseph R. Redman donated $300.(3) Mrs. Frank R. Pavne of Reno made two donations $750 and $200.(4) Donald R. Warren of Los Angeles sent a check for $100.(5) Mrs. Thelma Mulert, mother of one of our students, gave $300 wrhich was used, at her request, to bring Mr. Sidney Montague, noted lecturer and author, to the campus.(6) The 20th Century Fox Film Corporation donated $1,500 as a token of gratitude to the University for the privilege of filming "An Apartment for Peggy" on the campus.GENERAL ENDOWMENT FUNDThe General Endowment Fund received the following contribution from a former employee of the University.
