Bulgaria and its collaboration with the Joint Research Centre

The JRC has established a strong and productive partnership with Bulgaria in the fields of atmospheric emissions, fuel performance, geo spatial environment and disaster preparedness. Through this collaboration, the JRC has worked closely with Bulgaria's national authorities, research institutions and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge, share expertise, and jointly address common challenges. This partnership has resulted in the creation of innovative solutions and the execution of impactful projects that have benefitted both parties. Bulgarian partner organisations and institutions frequently engage with the JRC to explore new areas of cooperation and enhance collaboration through knowledge exchange and joint programmes.
