Collaborative Planning in Detailed Scheduling
Collaborative planning deals with aligning the production plans of legally separated companies. This thesis provides an approach for aligning detailed schedules in a scenario where several suppliers are delivering intermediate goods to one manufacturer. For producing the goods in a cost-efficient way, each company has to solve a Resource-Constrained Project Scheduling Problem, influencing the contraints of the other companies' problems. In particular, the work focuses on requirements for enabling collaborative planning in practice, such as limiting the exchange of data to only noncritical information. Moreover, an introduction to a planning tool of the SAP AG, the so-called PP/DS optimizer is presented
