Comparative scoreboard and performance indicators in NMP : research activities between the EU and third countries

This document is the final report of the study "Comparative Scoreboard and Performance Indicators in NMP (Nanotechnology and nanosciences, knowledge-based multifunctional Materials, and new Production processes and devices) Research Activities between the European Union (EU) and Third countries". The study aims to compare, assess and monitor the progress of European NMP research vis-à-vis Third countries (Associated States and other Third countries), and establish the position of the EU in the international context, in the fields of NMP research and its industrial applications, to support policy making.
