Developing an Effective On-line Learning Programme for an Adult Learner Community: A Case for Blended Delivery

This study analyses the pedagogical model of the on-line BA Enterprise programme, E-CollegeWales initiative designed by the University of Glamorgan. Specifically, this study evaluates theblended pedagogical model that has emerged within this programme, utilising a case studymethodology encompassing both student and tutor perspectives. This blended delivery combinedon-line provision and traditional face-to-face teaching. The critical issues in building a workableand manageable blended e-learning pedagogy for an emerging on-line programme are presentedand a conceptual framework proposed.
