Digital industries ecosystem : cloud and edge computing
Cloud computing is the practice of using data storages, databases and networking to store data and run and deliver services over the internet. Edge computing slightly modifies the cloud computing paradigm to process client data at the periphery of the network (i.e. near the user) to reduce lag times. It is particularly useful for Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
