Does Chinese Companies' Ofdi Enhance Their Own Green Technology Innovation?

This paper discusses the impacts of Chinese corporation' outward foreign direct invistment (OFDI) on their own green technology innovation. Based on 2010-2021 OFDI sample data of Chinese listed multinational corporations, this study finds that the green technology innovation of Chinese multinational corporation themselves has been promoted by their OFDI, and the impact on substantive green technology innovation is stronger than the impact on strategic green technology innovation, which indicate that the process of Chinese corporations' OFDI can result in the development of their own technology innovation, especially the high-quality green technology innovation
