Dosimetry research

Radiation dosimetry has been and remains a key element of successive Euratom research programmes and has contributed greatly to the effective development and application of radiation protection standards in Europe and beyond. Research specifically dedicated to dosimetry and carried out in Euratom Fifth Framework Programme (FP5) is summarised in this brochure. Dosimetry also forms an integral part of research in other areas and is described in context in other brochures, e.g. medical, epidemiology, emergency management.
