Effect Of Work Experience, Competency, Work Motivation On Employee Performance (Case Study On UNJ Office Administration Students)

This study was conducted to find out and analyze how the influence of work experience, competence, and work motivation variables on employee performance in undergraduate and D3 students of the 2019 FE UNJ Office Administration Study Program. This study uses quantitative methods with descriptive analysis and takes measurements through an ordinal scale. The data collection technique used in this study was through a questionnaire or questionnaire which was measured using a Likert scale from a value of one to five. The data analysis technique used is using the SmartPLS (Partial Least Squares) Statistics software version 3.3.9 by performing various tests or calculations, namely Statistical Descriptive Analysis, Outer Model with calculations (Convergent Validity, Discriminant Validity, Composite Reliability, Cronbach's Alpha), Inner Model with calculations (T Statistics, R-Square, f-Square, VIF), and Hypothesis Testing. Based on the test results, the results show that: (1) there is a positive influence between work experience on work motivation; (2) there is a negative influence between Work Experience on Employee Performance; (3) there is a positive influence between competence on work motivation; (4) there is a negative influence between Competence on Employee Performance; and (5) there is a positive influence between work motivation on employee performance.
