Equal pay - National Power plc v Young - An employment tribunal has jurisdiction to determine a claim under the Equal Pay Act if it is lodged within six months of the termination of the claimant's contract of employment, confirms the Court of Appeal. The claimant does not have to bring her claim within six months of ceasing to do the work on which the claim is based.
