Ergonomically Designed Workplace Layout in Production of Fish Crackers in Bustos Bulacan

The inefficiency and ergonomic issues of fish cracker production in Bustos, Bulacan are discussed in this case study. Ergonomic design reduces workplace stress and accidents while increasing worker productivity and efficiency. To evaluate the current process, identify issues, and propose an ergonomic system. The fish cracker production was inspected. Interrogate the visitor about common manufacturing tasks, challenges, and scenarios. Researchers were also allowed in. Worker and material flow are all observed. The study compared the existing and proposed workplace layouts using unstructured interviews with employees, owners, and supervisors. Flow process charts analyze data for existing and proposed system designs. The current and future workplace layouts are CAD-designed. Compared to the previous process, the researchers developed an improved system and proposed a redesigned workplace layout to help the company increase production and employee safety. Using better materials speeds up the production of fish crackers and increases worker productivity. Redesigning workplaces to maximize productivity while minimizing employee inconvenience is recommended. This will increase the systems’ product output and employee output
