Financial Performance of Selective Automobile Companies in India – An Analysis

Automobile manufacturing sector is one of the core sectors, which helps to develop the economy by producing and supplying products and service. This sector faces many problems so it affects the performance of the company. It also affects the economic development. The present study focused on the overall performance, because the up gradation of technology, lack of skilled labor, cost of equipment affects the capital structure. Therefore, the study collects financial data from the financial year 2010-2011 to 2020-2021 to analyze the data and it has collected from the corporate website of Ashok Leyland, TATA Motors and TVS Motors by purposive sampling method. Hence, collected data were analyzed by applying tools like CAGR, Ratios, and Common size statement to assess the overall performance.
