Globalpreneurship : The Need for a Line of Demarcation within Corporate Entrepreneurship Research

The term Globalpreneurship is used for the first time to define the process of intrapreneurship within large multi-national companies. Globalpreneurs face unique challenges that corporate entrepreneurs in small businesses don’t generally face, such as the need to understand the diverse cultural perceptions of internal and external stakeholders and external pressures applied by institutional and individual stockholders. Wal-Mart’s expansion into Central America, and its intrapreneurial implications, is offered as a case example
