The SILVANUS project is advancing wildfire management by developing an integrated platform that combines technologies for monitoring, prevention, and suppression of extreme wildfire incidents. The platform is designed to support forest managers, firefighters, and local authorities in addressing the increasing severity and frequency of wildfires. The project also aims to educate and empower citizens in wildfire management through the promotion of citizen engagement app, educational courses and campaigns. SILVANUS aligns with global climate and biodiversity goals by providing a comprehensive approach to wildfire risk, incorporating technological, policy, and community engagement strategies.
