Health and care in an enlarged Europe

Examining quality of life in 28 European countries, including the acceding and candidate countries as well as the current Member States of the EU, this report explores how Europeans perceive their health, to what extent they display healthy and unhealthy lifestyles, how easily they can access their national health care system and how satisfied they are with its performance.The analysis is based on data from the European Commissionu0092s Eurobarometer survey carried out in the acceding and candidate countries in Spring 2002 and standard EU 15 Eurobarometers.
