Human capital and mobility : annual report 1993; Volume I: Mathematics and information sciences, physics, chemistry

The Annual Report 1993 contains data on all contracts entered into under the Human Capital and Mobility (HCM) programme in 1993. Each chapter contains contract references, names and addresses, and the title of research for all fellowships, networks and Euroconferences. The projects covered by large-scale facilities, which are inter-disciplinary in nature, are in a separate chapter. In addition, for each network and large-scale facility project, a full abstract of the research, with indexed keywords and a complete list of partners, is also given. HCM supports basic and applied research projects throughout the exact, natural and human sciences. HCM comprises four main activities: - fellowships for research, organised either by individuals or by institutes; - support for research networks, which bring together research teams from different countries; - grants to facilitate access for scientists to Europe's large-scale research facilities; - assistance to organizers of Euroconferences. The Annual Report 1993 is published in two volumes: Volume I covers mathematics and information sciences, physics, and chemistry; Volume II covers life sciences, earth sciences, engineering sciences, economics, social and human sciences, and large-scale facilities.
