Illegality of contract - Beauvale Furnishings Ltd v Chapman - An employee had intended to defraud the Inland Revenue by purporting to be selfemployed, holds the EAT. His contract of employment was thus tainted by illegality, and unenforceable for the purposes of establishing sufficient continuous employment for an unfair dismissal complaint.
