The present report has been requested by the European Parliament Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, the Temporary Committee on Climate Change and the Committee on Development. The study addresses the integrated climate and forestry policy options in developing countries, focussing on the implications of carbon financing for pro-poor community forestry.
