Konjunktur 2009
Im Jahr 2008 hat sich das Wachstum der Weltwirtschaft spürbar verlangsamt. Alle großen Industrieländer befinden sich mittlerweile in der Rezession und in den Schwellenländern ist es zu einem deutlichen Rückgang der Wachstumsraten gekommen. Schon länger hatte sich ein verlangsamtes Wachstum abgezeichnet. So wurde schon vor einem Jahr auf die dämpfenden Effekte der hohen Energie- und Rohstoffkosten hingewiesen. Auch die Immobilienkrise in den USA ist als deutliches Risiko gesehen worden. Die dadurch ausgelöste Finanzmarktkrise blieb zunächst auf den Finanzsektor beschränkt. Dies hat sich erst im September geändert. Mit dem Zusammenbruch von Lehman Brothers ist weltweit das Vertrauen von Verbrauchern und Investoren geschwunden. Außerdem haben sich die Finanzierungsbedingungen deutlich verschlechtert. Am stärksten waren zunächst die USA und andere Länder mit Immobilienkrisen betroffen. Die zurückgehende Nachfrage hat dann aber auch exportorientierte Länder wie China, Japan und Deutschland stärker erfasst. Die Schwächehase der Weltwirtschaft wird sich bis zur Mitte des nächsten Jahres erstrecken. Erst in der zweiten Jahreshälfte dürften stabilisierende Faktoren greifen.
