Lao PDR Nutrition Convergence Impact Evaluation
This report presents findings from an impact evaluation of the NC program on nutrition outcomes. Specifically, it assesses the impact of the Reducing Rural Poverty and Malnutrition Project and the Poverty Reduction Fund Project, when complementing the Health and Nutrition Services Access Project, on key anthropometric measures-stunting, wasting, and underweight-between 2020 and 2022. The analysis compares actual outcomes with counterfactuals (potential outcomes that might have occurred in the absence of the two additional interventions) to assess their added impact. The report also examines the program's causal pathways by assessing its impacts on intermediate nutrition outcomes. Based on these findings, the report offers policy recommendations to enhance the program's effectiveness
