Literature review on a measurable definition of green jobs and on the impact on jobs and skills in the green transition
Andrea Broughton, Alexandre Mohamedaly, Julie Bourneix, Cécile Weber, Antonia Cioanca and Alexej Parchomenko
This paper examines key aspects of green jobs and their impact on the green transition of the EU. It responds to the European Union's commitments as part of the European Green Deal and the Fit for 55 package, and associated measures as part of the Circular Economy Action Plan, Green Deal Industrial Plan and the REPowerEU Plan. These measures envisage a range of investments and actions that will have impacts across industrial ecosystems, including in relation to their overall size and shape, demands for new technologies and processes, and the profile and requirements of jobs and skills.
