National policies for AI in science
Artificial Intelligence is a disruptive set of technologies with the promise to significantly impact all aspects of human life. The main characteristics of AI - extracting value from data, autonomous learning, and problem-solving - make it potentially transformative for research & innovation. This MLE aims to facilitate an exchange of information, experiences and lessons learned as well as to identify good practices in relation to national policies for AI in science. The MLE will target national policy-makers and funders and will focus on exchanges of national practices at the operational and strategic levels. It will also explore synergies of national strategic approaches with those of other EU Member States and Associated Countries as well as strengthen national capacities to adapt to potential new challenges in the field of AI application in science.
