Outbreaks and controls of Asian and citrus longhorn beetles in the EU : overview report

This overview report describes the outcome of a series of audits carried out between 2021 and 2023 by the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety of the European Commission in four EU Member States (MS). The objective of the audit series was to evaluate the situation and control measures applied in response to the outbreaks of Anoplophora chinensis and Anoplophora glabripennis longhorn beetles. The report focuses on the development of the situation since 2015 when the overview report of the previous audit series with the same objective was published.
