"That the eight Hundred Bonds, numbered from one to Eight hundred which are registered in the "Bond Book" and two hundred other Bonds duly signed + executed, each for Five Hundred dollars payable in 1870, with the coupons, were this day examined and cancelled in our presence. Also Sixty Bonds of One Thousand dollars each and Thirty Bonds of Five Hundred dollars each and Two Bonds of Thirteen Hundred + Seventeen dollars each, all bearing date the 17th day of May 1861 + payable the 17th day of May 1864, which bonds had been issued to Drane + Singletary and subsequently exchanged for third Mortgage Bonds under resolution of the Board, were also examined + cancelled in our presence.(signed) C.
