of the employees, particularly of thos on the line of the road, was much too little, and lower than other companies were paying for the same service, when, on motion, the Presdt was authorised to increase the salaries of such of the employees as he thought proper in such manner as he saw to be best, not to exceed 50 per cent.The President submitted statements of the business for the months of August and September, Business of 9 months ending 30th September and Statement of the condition of the Company on the 30th Sept, all of which was received as information.The President presented a circular issued by the Treasurer of the Soldiers Wayside Home appealing to the public for aid.
