Physico-chemical behaviour of atmospheric pollutants : proceedings of the Sixth European Symposium, Varese 18-22 October 1993; Volume II

The proceedings contain oral and poster papers presented at the sixth European symposium on the Physico-Chemical Behaviour of Atmospheric Pollutants. The material, accompanied for each session by a summary of the research in each particular area, is presented in these two volumes. Following current highlights of the research on tropospheric chemistry, priority was given at the symposium to studies performed in the four main areas listed below. The papers presented are arranged in the proceedings accordingly. Volume 1: Session 1 - Oxidation efficiency of the atmosphere Session 2 - Transport processes Volume 2: Session 3 - Instrumental and analytical techniques Session 4 - The role of clouds in tropospheric chemistry. This last session was organized as a joint EC-Eurotrac workshop. The proceedings represent a useful update of the research in progress in Europe on the most important global environmental issues related to the anthropogenic perturbation of the troposphere.
