Sensitivity Analysis (SA) can be applied to all branches of modelling and computer experiments. It can be used for screening active factors in systems with many uncertain parameters, for the identification of crucial regions in the input parameter space, for model calibration in the presence of uncertainties and as a tool to assist in lumping of complex models. SA may be crucial in model verification and quality assurance.
