Provisionnement des rentes viagères en Algérie entre approche statique et approche prospective

Life expectancy at birth in Algeria keeps improving significantly at least since the independence in 1962. This longevity combined with the new constraints of the Algerian life annuity market reduces the usefulness of static life tables and accentuates the need to use prospective life tables as pricing and reserving tools. In the absence of mortality data specific to the annuity market, we propose, in this work, to rely directly on the data of the global population in order to build a prospective life table for life annuities pricing and reserving in Algeria. The results obtained under the prospective approach are compared to those obtained under the static approach.
