Recovery and utilization of Gaseous Industrial Effluents in the chemical sector

This publication is the outcome a procurement procedure under COSME work programme 2016. This report explores the chemical sector's opportunities for the recovery and utilization of Gaseous Industrial Effluents (GIEs) in the EU. It puts forward recommendations to the European Commission to stimulate the circularity of GIEs in the chemical sector and supports regions in exploring the implementation of the recovery and utilization of GIEs, amongst others through an online Self-Assessment Tool.
