Seminar on marine sciences and technologies in FP7 : Natural Science Museum Brussels, 16th January 2007

This Meeting Summary and Statement is prepared as an input from the different stakeholders present to the on-going debate on the role of marine sciences and technologies in economic, social and environmental development (in the context of Lisbon and Gothenburg Agendas, etc) and as a cornerstone of the proposed EU Maritime Policy. In providing this report in a published format it can contribute to future conferences addressing these topics and especially the German Presidency Conference on the Maritime Green Paper (Bremen, May 2007) and the EurOCEANS 2007 Conference (Aberdeen, June 2007).
