This Working Paper investigates the structuring effect of the European Union's Framework Programmes - FP7 Health, Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 1, and Horizon Europe Cluster 1 - on health research networks throughout three distinct periods: 2007-2013, 2014-2020, and 2021-2027. The paper assesses the success of these programmes in initiating new research collaborations and examines the durability and impact of the networks they foster.
