Study of Difference in Learning Styles of Higher Secondary Level Students of Government and Private Schools of Jaipur District

Learning styles of students affect their academic outcomes. Students studying in different schools adopt different learning styles. In this research work done with the aim of studying the significance of difference in learning styles of higher secondary level students studying in different schools, 542 students studying in higher secondary classes of government and private schools located in Jaipur district of Rajasthan state were selected. Went. The randomly selected sample consisted of 285 male students and 257 female students. Learning Style Inventory (2012) developed by Karuna Shankar Mishra was used for data collection. From the data analyzed through t-test, it was found that no significant difference was found in the scores of executive reproductive style of senior secondary level students of government and private schools of Jaipur district. Whereas significant difference was found in the scores of creative creative style. No significant difference was found in the scores of oral reproductive style. While a significant difference was found in the scores of the verbal creative style, no significant difference was found in the scores of the figurative reproductive style.
