Study on the application of the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU : final report

The overall objective of this study is to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, coherence, relevance, and EU added value of the Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU). The study establishes the degree to which the objectives of the Directive have been achieved, with respect to a high level of consumer protection and the contribution to the proper functioning of the internal market. This involves an evaluation of the legal and economic impacts that have occurred as a result of the modifications made to the two predecessor Directives and the new rules introduced.
