Study on the European Pillar of Social Rights : state of play in 2024 : country reports

This report provides an analysis of 14 EU Member States' implementation of four key Directives linked to the European Pillar of Social Rights (EPSR): Directive 2019/1152 on transparent and predictable working conditions (TPWCD); Directive 2019/1158 on work-life balance for parents and carers (WLBD); Directive 2022/2041 on adequate minimum wages (AMWD); and Directive 2022/2381 on gender balance in company boards (GBBD). The purpose of this report is to assess the degree to which the countries have transposed, applied, and enforced these Directives. This analysis covers not only the legislative and institutional frameworks adopted, but it also delves into the extent to which the implementation aligns with the objectives of the EPSR Action Plan and supports the rights of diverse categories of workers. This report aims to identify best practices, persistent challenges, and areas for improvement.
