Study on trusted electronics : an overview over requirements, technologies and initiatives towards more trusted electronics

The advance of integrated electronics fundamentally changed societies, states, economies and ultimately our personal lives. Starting from simple circuits and single transistors to integrated circuits with billions of transistors, driving most advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence is only possible through a global process of optimisation and centralisation. As a consequence, nowadays only a handful of companies is capable of manufacturing circuits in the most advanced technologies.
