Study supporting the evaluation and impact assessment of the general review of EU legislation in the field of European labour market statistics on businesses (LMB) : revised final report : impact assessment

Based on the findings of the evaluation of LMB statistics, the aim of this assignment was to support the impact assessment of policy options aimed at modernising the EU legal framework on labour market statistics on business (LMB) conducted by Eurostat. The impact assessment is structured around the seven steps of an impact assessment as prescribed by the Better Regulation Guidelines: - What is the problem and why is it a problem? - Why should the EU act? - What should be achieved? - What are the various options to achieve the objectives? - What are the economic, social and environmental impacts and who will be affected? - How do the different options compare (effectiveness, efficiency and coherence)? - Ho will monitoring and subsequent retrospective evaluations be organise?
